About Requesting Donation Destination Information (DDIR)
What is DDIR at EFPRP?
DDIR, or Donation Destination Information Request, is a process by which individuals or organizations can inquire about how their donations to EFPRP are being utilized. This transparency initiative allows donors to gain insights into the specific projects, programs, or activities that their contributions support.
Why Does EFPRP Implement DDIR?
Enhanced Transparency:
By providing clear and concise information about the allocation of funds, EFPRP reinforces its commitment to transparency and accountability.
Strengthened Donor Relationships:
DDIR helps to build trust and foster stronger relationships with donors by keeping them informed about the impact of their contributions.
Informed Decision-Making:
DDIR empowers donors to make informed decisions about their charitable giving by providing them with specific details about how their funds will be used.
How Does EFPRP Handle DDIR Requests?
When a DDIR request is received, EFPRP typically takes the following steps:
Review the Request (1-2 days):
The request is carefully reviewed to understand the specific information required.
Gather Relevant Information (up to 7 days):
Relevant financial records, project reports, and other documentation are gathered to provide a comprehensive response.
Prepare a Response (1-2 days):
A detailed response is prepared, outlining how the donation has been or will be allocated to specific projects or programs.
Communicate with the Requestor (1-2 days):
The response is communicated to the requester in a clear and timely manner, often through email or a formal letter.
Based on this information, you can expect us to send you your DDIR request in approximately 4 to 13 days but we could take up to a month, depending on the amount of requests we are handling.
Currently, the expected time for us to send you your DDIR request is 4 days, which is the lowest timeline. (Check "last update" on the footer of the page to verify the last update of this timeline)
Types of Information Provided in a DDIR Response:
Project Details: Specific information about the projects or programs that the donation will support, including their goals, objectives, and expected outcomes.
Financial Breakdown: A breakdown of how the donation will be allocated, including specific expenses such as personnel costs, equipment purchases, or program implementation.
Impact Assessment: Information about the potential impact of the donation, such as the number of people who will benefit or the environmental impact.
Timeline: A timeline for the implementation of the project or program.
By providing detailed and accurate information in response to DDIR requests, we aim to maintain the trust and confidence of our donors and ensure that their contributions are used effectively to achieve the organization's mission.
